Local journalists were honored for their work during the 25th annual Studs Terkel Community Media Awards, on March 6 at Film Row Cinema, 1104 S. Wabash Ave. Among the honorees were Steve Bogira of the Chicago Reader and Alejandro Escalona of Telemundo. The awards honor Chicago journalists who “tell local stories from the roots.”
