The Columbia Chronicle is the award-winning student newspaper at Columbia College Chicago, a private, nonprofit institution of higher learning located in the heart of Chicago. With undergraduate and graduate degree programs, Columbia College Chicago offers approximately 6,000 students a curriculum blending creative and media arts, liberal arts and business. First called the CC Writer in 1973, Columbia’s student newspaper became known as The Columbia Chronicle in 1978. In addition to a print newspaper published two times per year (once each semester) during the traditional school year, The Columbia Chronicle produces digital content year-round on ColumbiaChronicle.com and its social media platforms.
