Vincent Gray makes doughnuts the old-fashioned way in the Roseland neighborhood, Thursday, July 23, 2026. Opening in 1972, owner Buritt Bulloch, known by his customers as Mr. B, has proudly served the Roseland neighborhood in his storefront, Old Fashioned Donuts, for over 50 years. This photo is part of the Columbia Chronicle’s “77 Community Areas” project, documenting Chicago in celebration of America’s 250th birthday.
