Chronicle TV: Episode 10

This week, host Connor Dore talks about the part-time faculty union — or CFAC — moving to strike starting Monday, Oct. 30.

The union and the college’s bargaining team negotiated over class sizes, part-time faculty healthcare and job security. Classes taught by full-time faculty will not be impacted, but some full-time faculty may be asked to take over the courses taught by part-time faculty on strike.

Students will not be penalized if their classes are canceled due to the strike.

This is a developing story.

This episode of Chronicle TV was filmed on Friday, October 27, 2023.
