Fashion Week takes place from October 9th through the 20th, exploring 77 neighborhoods within the city to celebrate present commerce, past history, and sustainable, innovative new frontiers for the future of fashion.

Multiple organizations collaborated to host Rev Up the Vote, an evening filled with dynamic student performances, catering from alum Ashley Simon and celebrity guest speaker Precious Brady-Davis, the first black trans woman appointed as commissioner for the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago.
3:03
Davis spoke on the impact that student voices have on the upcoming election, along with their own personal experience with politics as a public figure.
3:10
Brady-Davis: I think it’s important for the youth vote to be at the table, right, because we need your voices.
3:18
We need all of your voices weighing in into this democracy, because if you’re not at the table, your voice isn’t being heard.
3:28
And I think that it needs to be heard.
3:31
I think that there are a lot of people with dated ideals. And I think that you are an optimistic generation.
3:40
The floor opened for a short reception and questions from the audience following the guest speakers final thoughts.
