Student Center kick-off with Kaina, DeadstockV1

The Student Programming Board hosted a concert in celebration of the new Student Center, 754 S. Wabash Ave., Friday. The show was for Columbia students only and featured performances from local Chicago artists Kaina and DeadstockV1.

DeadstockV1 kicked off the show, held at the new event space on the fifth floor of the Student Center, and warmed up the crowd for Kaina. He joined the Columbia student crowd to dance with them while he performed “Liv.9000.” After DeadstockV1’s performance, SPB staff welcomed Kaina to the stage. Kaina encouraged her audience to sing along to her songs from her album, “Next to the Sun.”
