Mychal McIntyre, a Chicago-based artist known as Mike DFG, is a sophomore music business major with a minor in marketing.
McIntyre predominantly creates trap music but is well-versed in other genres as well. Currently working on his studio album, McIntyre is aspiring to leave a permanent impact – whether that’s more people listening or more acclaim – he’s hoping, “it hits on all facets.”
McIntyre hopes to be authentic and for future generations of artists to be just as original because he knows that’s the only way to make it, especially as an upcoming artist.
