Illustration students noticed that a flyer promoting a pancake breakfast was created with AI. The giveaway was the hands. AI struggles with depicting hands.
Chris Eliopoulos, associate professor of design, told the Chronicle that generative AI “poses a massive threat to creative careers, industries and communities.”
He advised students to remove the flyers if they saw them.
