WBEZ reporter Natalie Y. Moore hosted a book reading and discussion of her latest book, “The South Side: A Portrait of Chicago and American Segregation,” March 20 at Columbia’s 33 E. Congress Parkway Building.

This is Moore’s third book and is her most powerful and intimate yet. Moore is a born-and-raised South Side resident who examines the effects of race and segregation on South Side communities.
