Student Financial Services invests in art students’ future | The Columbia Chronicle

As part of Manifest, Columbia’s Student Financial Services Office conducted an art contest, where seven students competed for their mural to be displayed on the third floor of the 600 S. Michigan Ave. Building. Zelda Galewsky, a senior illustration major, was selected as the winner and installed her piece May 11. Galewsky’s mural depicted a bird watering flowers in the real-life garden below, relating to the theme “Invest in your future.” She says creating the mural and installing it took a lot of time and patience.
