Multimedia Desk

The Multimedia Desk is responsible for creating visually stimulating content in video, photo and audio platforms. This section is unique in that it doesn’t have a specific beat, so there is more freedom in topic coverage. That said, collaboration with the other desks (Campus, Metro, Sports & Health, Arts & Culture) is highly encouraged. The desk is also responsible for producing a number of supplements each week, which may include a featured event, how-to, and an update with an on-campus organization.

Multimedia Editor

A Multimedia Editor is responsible for producing at least two multimedia pieces each week

Have an understanding in how to elevate a story visually in different platforms

Find stories that deal with and are appealing to students, teachers and administrators
