Columbia’s Multicultural Affairs and Radio Department hosted “Don’t Kill the fun Records & Radio Seminar” on March 19 at the 623 S. Wabash building. Columbia sat down to talk about the importance of radio and how the music industry operates with R&B artist Sevyn Streeter, Columbia alumna and WGCI radio jock Demi Lobo, entertainment attorney and power negotiator Jay B. Ross, Midwest manager for Atlantic Records Lee Johnson, entrepreneur and former WGCI program director, Kenard Karter and Power 92 night jock Shagg Nice of the Hot Boyz.
