On Saturday, Sept. 15, the Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW) staged a protest at Chipotle’s Cultivate Festival in Lincoln Park. The CIW is a Florida farmworker organization that developed the Fair Food Program, a partnership between farmworkers, tomato growers, and ten leading food corporations–Chipotle has not signed to be a part of the program.

At the protest, the CIW and their allies criticized Chipotle, saying the company isn’t doing its part to end poverty with Florida farmworkers.
