Urban Dolorosa

Urban Dolorosa is a multimedia ceremony to honor the school age children and teenagers that were killed by violence over the past 3 school years in Chicago. The ceremony took place in 5 locations throughout the city and brought together all groups of people to honor those they have lost to violence. Urban Dolorosa included a musical choir, poetry and photographs. The piece brought out many individuals to pay their respects including Mayor Rahm Emanuel as well as Chicago Public School CEO Jean Claude-Brizard.
