Clad in pink, sparkly shorts and a bright green jacket, Chicago hip-hop artist tobi lou came home to Chicago Sunday for the last stop of his “Happy + Extra Sad” tour in support of his album “Live on Ice,” released in August.

Tobi lou’s tour also featured East Coast-based artist Liltrxptendo and Chicago-native rapper femdot.

Liltrxptendo kicked-off the show at Lincoln Hall, 2424 N. Lincoln Ave., with his singles “VoiceMail” and “BESTFRIEND!”

Femdot. performed songs from his latest EP “94 Camry Music” and brought indie artist Shawnee Dez, another Chicagoan, to the stage to perform their joint song “Your Love” from femdot.’s 2018 album “Delacreme 2.”

A classic standard at his concerts, tobi lou performed “Waterboy” while splashing water into the crowd. He also brought Rockie Fresh, a Chicago-based rapper, to the stage to perform “Deserve It.”

Tobi lou and friends sold out all 24 tour dates, with his single “Buff Baby,” which appears in a number of Tik Tok videos, helping him garner support from fans.
