Vice President of Student Affairs Sharon Wilson-Taylor announced April 8 that student activity fees would increase for the 2019-2020 academic year to support student organizations, collegewide events and new programming events.

According to the email announcement, fees will increase by $30 per semester for full-time students and $15 for part-time students. Student activity fees for the 2018-2019 academic year are $120 for full-time students and $60 for part-time students. Activity fees for the 2019-2020 academic year will now be $150 for full-time students and $75 for part-time students.

In addition to supporting student organizations, the fee increases will also support new programming for annual entertainment awards, such as the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony award celebrations, and campus observances for Veterans’ Day, World AIDS Day and the Trans Day of Remembrance.
