For its second night in Chicago during its North American tour, New Jersey indie-rock collective Pinegrove sold out Thalia Hall, 1807 S. Allport St., Sept. 11, along with the support of openers Stephen Steinbrink and Common Holly.

West Coast pop songwriter Stephen Steinbrink kicked-off the show with his acoustic guitar and a performance of songs from his indie-pop album “Utopia Teased.”

Common Holly, alongside her alternative-indie group, also took the stagebefore Pinegrove. The singer and songwriter played songs from her upcoming album “When I Say to You Black Lighting.”

Pinegrove’s set began with its latest single, “Moment.” The band rocked out their show performing songs from their albums “Skylight” and “Cardinal.”
