The 41st Street Pedestrian Bridge lays free of pedestrians while temperatures reach a high of 95 degrees on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026. The bridge was part of an international design project called “Bridging the Drive,” connecting the Lake Shore Trail and William Davis Park.
