Polls close across Eastern seaboard
November 6, 2012
Polls have closed in most states on the Eastern half of the U.S.
The presidential race is relatively close so far, but voting is still taking place in more states.
Of the states that will be reporting results soon, keep an eye on Maryland and Maine, which both have the potential to legalize same-sex marriage through ballot initiative. So does Washington, but polls don’t close there until 11 p.m.
