Two organized marches regarding abortion started in front of Federal Plaza, 50 W. Adams St., on Jan 17.  March for Life, a Washington D.C. based organization, is the largest gathering of pro-life supporters in the Midwest and meets annually to demonstrate against the Roe v. Wade decision of 1973. Across the street, pro-choice supporters organized a counter protest led by Feminist Uprising Against Inequality and Exploitation—FURIE—calling the March for Life “March for Lies.”
