Columbia College Chicago offers numerous scholarships to prospective, transfer, current and graduate students. Now that some scholarship deadlines have passed and others are approaching, professors urge students to apply due to a low amount of applications. This past fall, Columbia awarded approximately 600 students with scholarships, which is double the amount awarded in fall 2007. The Chronicle’s Multimedia Editor, Cristina Aguirre, talks with a few Columbia students to see if they are taking advantage of the scholarship opportunities.
