The Chicago Cubs played their home opener April 11 at Wrigley Field against the Cincinnati Reds.  Fans arrived early and gathered near the stadium at local restaurants as they eagerly waited for doors to open.

After a hundred-plus year-drought of a World Series win, the Cubs are favored to win the World Series this year.  With one of the team’s best starts in years, the Cubs seem to be on their way.
