The Chronicle honored during National College Media Convention

The Chronicle took home multiple awards during the National College Media Convention, hosted by the Associated Collegiate Press Oct. 27 in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Chronicle received an award for its 2018 Manifest guide and an individual award for a separate Manifest advertisement. Zoë Haworth, a 2018 graphic design alumna and Art Director for the 2017-2018 academic year, received an award for a Semester in LA advertisement and an honorable mention for the 2015-2016 Media Kit.

The Chronicle also received an honorable mention for its staff editorial, “How to apologize for sexual misconduct,” written in Spring 2018 by then-Opinions Editor Tyra Bosnic, a 2018 journalism alumna.

The Chronicle was named a finalist for a 2018 Newspaper Pacemaker. Echo Magazine, The Chronicle’s sister publication, was named a 2018 Magazine Pacemaker finalist for its Spring 2018 Body Issue.
