Panelists joined City Club of Chicago on August 29, to discuss thoughts on an elected school board and whether it would be the right move for Chicago Public Schools amid budget cuts and ongoing turbulence.

The bill that would allow Chicago to elect their school board passed in March. Panelists discussed whether this would solve the budget deficit and other problems within CPS.
