Shooting donations Haiti’s way

Columbia College is all about creating change and that’s what one student is doing to help out the earthquake-stricken island of Haiti. Daniel Kelleghan, a photography major at Columbia, set up a studio in his Lincoln Park apartment for a photo shoot benefiting Haiti. For a minimum donation of $10, people had their photos taken in hour-long shoots. Kelleghan said he has raised around $800 and that all the money is going to the American Red Cross.

“The hardship that I saw in the CNN TV show inspired me to come up with the project while utilizing my skills,” said Kellighan. “Last shoot was a success and I hope to do it again.”
