The Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) has a launched a Cultural Plan 2012 initiative to revisit the city’s last cultural plan, which was developed in 1986. By having these Town Hall Meetings and other types of meetings; the DCASE is hoping to create a new plan that will satisfy the entire Chicago community as a whole. The plan will be launched in early Fall 2012.
