Sedgewick plays @Uncommon Ground Chicago | The Columbia Chronicle

Sedgewick, a relatively new Chicago-based folk band received the title of “Best New Folk Music Act” by New City Magazine as part of its legendary Best of Chicago.

Bassist Oliver Horton and songwriter/guitarist Sam Brownson met in college and played together in a nine-piece folk band called Poets and Peasants before forming the band Sedgewick.

After re-uniting last year in Chicago and forming their very own band, the group plans to release its first extended album on April 7.
