Northwestern Wildcats’ senior offensive lineman Patrick Ward has been chosen as a finalist National Football Foundation National Scholar-Athlete Award.

Ward, who has a 3.94 grade point average, is one of 15 student-athletes to be given honor. He spoke to media following practice Oct. 24 about his academic career, and life after football.
