A Jan. 18 benefit concert for displaced workers raised at least $12,000 for those who lost their jobs after a massive fire destroyed three popular Evanston businesses. The benefit was hosted by neighboring restaurant 27Live, 1012 Church St. Area artists Steve Rashid, Poor Man’s Cow and the Louie Zagoras Trio donated their time to perform.
