Chicago’s New Archbishop: Installation of Blase Cupich | The Columbia Chronicle

It’s a new day at the Archdiocese of Chicago as Blase Cupich officially became the 9th Archbishop of Chicago. He was appointed by Pope Francis to succeed Cardinal Francis George on Sept. 20. In a prayer service on Nov. 19 at Holy Name Cathedral, 735 N. State St., Archbishop Cupich spoke on a more personal level with parishioners on their relationship with Christ and how they can better serve the community.
