Jeff Baker is running for alderman of the 21st Ward, which includes parts of the Auburn-Gresham, West Chatham and Englewood neighborhoods. Baker says his opponent, incumbent Howard Brookins, has not been able to rally up residents to bring positive change to the neighborhood. The Chronicle spoke with Baker about his plans for jobs, schools and giving residents more opportunities to own and manage their businesses.
