Faculty members at the University of Illinois at Chicago went on strike Feb. 18-19 to protest low wages as contract negotiations continue. Hundreds of classes were cancelled while instructors walked the picket lines demanding better treatment from administrators before returning to the bargaining table Feb. 21.
