Chicago Blackhawks take stadium series by storm

The crowd cheers March 1 as the National Anthem is played before the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins face off at Solider Field.

The 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series found a home in the Bears’ den as it hosted the Chicago Blackhawks and Pittsburgh Penguins in an outdoor game at Soldier Field, 1410 Museum Campus Drive, on March 1. The ‘Hawks beat the Penguins 5-1. Captain Jonathan Toews scored two goals and an assist, making him the NHL’s 1st Star of the game.

Though the weather did not seem fit for an outdoor game, the stadium was filled to the brim with eager fans.
