‘The Housemaid’ film review

South Korean director Im Sang-Soo’s newest film, “The Housemaid,” is a re-imagining of a classic melodrama that falls right into place among the countries latest cinematic output. A film of many moods and tones, “The Housemaid” is a thrilling and seductive experience that wowed audiences at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. The film made it’s Chicago premiere at the Music Box Theatre on Feb. 4. The Chronicle’s film critic Drew Hunt shares his review.
