Alderman Will Burns 4th Ward, along with various Chicago developers, announced Nov. 30 that two new buildings will soon be built in the 1100 block of Wabash Avenue. The announcement was made at 1104 S. Wabash Ave. Developer Keith Giles said one building will include 320 units, of which half will be studios. The other building feature two hotels. South Loop residents say they think the buildings will be beneficial, but they have some concerns about how they will affect traffic.
