Activists in Uptown marched to Alderman James Cappleman’s 46th ward office on Oct. 3 to protest gentrification, bring awareness to issues facing the homeless community and keep the North Side an affordable, diverse community.

The event was organized by Uptown Uprising, which is an organization that fights for the poor and working-class citizens of Uptown.
