Student veterans and their families came to celebrate their service and achievements on Veterans Day at Columbia. The celebration was held Nov. 11 at the Conaway Center in the 1104 S. Wabash Ave. Building, and shed light on issues still prevalent throughout the veteran population in the United States. Event organizers hope to educate members of the college and the public on what it means to wear the uniform.
