Fast food workers strike for $15 an hour

Fast food workers across America rallied together to protest for a $15 hourly minimum wage. Chicago’s protestors decided to strike at the James R. Thompson Center, 100 W. Randolph St., Nov. 10.  During the strike, protestors said they wanted $15 an hour and chanted, “One people united, we’ll never be divided.” Some individuals said it is hard to feed their families and pay rent earning $10 an hour. Some also said if wages were raised, $15 an hour would just be a starting point.
