Visitation announced for Rose Economou

Rose Economou, associate professor of Journalism, passed away in her Oak Park home on Oct. 1.

The cause of death has not yet been announced. She was 65.

Grief counseling is available to students in the Counseling Services office located at 731 S. Plymouth Court in suite 112 on the first floor. Counselors will also be present in her classes.

Rose’s visitation will be on Oct. 10 from 3 p.m.– 9 p.m. at Blake Lamb Funeral Home/103rd located at 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, Ill. Her funeral service will be held on Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 10301 S. Kolmar Ave., Oak Lawn, Ill.

The college is planning a memorial service, which will be announced at a later date.
