Hundreds of protesters took to the streets Nov. 24 following the release of the video depicting 17-year-old Laquan McDonald being fatally shot 16 times by CPD officer Jason Van Dyke on Oct. 20, 2014. The protesters’ anger toward police officers fueled the march through the night as they chanted, “They think this is a game, they think this is a joke.”
