Chicago’s First Citywide Print Crawl

The Chicago Print Crawl is a free self-guided tour of 20 printmaking production, publishing, exhibition and sales venues throughout the City of Chicago.

Chicago, IL – On Sunday, June 24, 2018, Spudnik Press Cooperative, in collaboration with 15+ maker spaces, galleries, and artist-run venues, will inaugurate the first ever Chicago Print Crawl. The Chicago Print Crawl is a free self-guided tour of 20 printmaking production, publishing, exhibition and sales venues throughout the City of Chicago. This celebration of printmaking reaches beyond the walls of our studio and extends into numerous neighborhoods and communities throughout the city of Chicago.

From 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. participating organizations and venues will open their doors to anyone partaking in this free, self-guided tour. During this time, Spudnik Press Cooperative is also hosting an indoor/outdoor printmaking extravaganza and will activate 1821 W. Hubbard St. with refreshments, a member market, studio tours, and print activities. Afterwards, everyone is welcome to escape the heat at Low Res Studios at 6:00 p.m., when the member market turns into an after party!
