Bring It On: Quinn & Rauner vie for Black vote | The Columbia Chronicle

Incumbent Gov. Pat Quinn and Republican challenger Bruce Rauner did some last-minute campaigning to persuade black residents to vote for them. The latest Chicago Tribune poll, which was released on Thursday, has Quinn with a whopping 86 percent over Rauner’s 3 percent. In the last few weeks, both candidates have been visiting black churches to encourage parishioners to get to the polls.
