High school and Columbia students filled the Hokin Hall,623 S. Wabash Ave., to have a conversation with actress April Lee Hernández. Presented by the Multicultural Affairs Office, Hernández , a Latina film actress, gave a motivational speech and interacted with students. She starred in Freedom Riders, ER, and most recently as part of the ensemble cast on the fifth season of Showtime’s award winning series DEXTER.
