0:27: The Career Center is holding a portfolio preparation workshop on Tuesday, April 8th.
0:33: The workshop will cover strategies for building a portfolio website, including archiving, benchmarking, and conducting industry research.
0:43: The event will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in room 357 of the Student Center.
0:51: Also on Tuesday, the Student Government Association will be holding their election.
0:57: Candidates will present their speeches, and students can vote for next year’s executive board.
1:02: The event will be held in The Hive on the third floor of 618 South Michigan from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. On Thursday, April 10th, the Career Center is holding a “Career in the Arts” panel.
1:17: The panel, which includes alumni, will discuss a range of jobs students can pursue with their degrees and skills earned at Columbia.
1:26: After the panel, the School of Visual Arts Student Council will be hosting a networking hour for attendees.
1:33: The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. in The Hive.
