Transcript:
0:00: Today we’re talking about the BSU bring your own snack event!
0:04: Today was really fun. I had a great time. I feel like everyone was very engaged. Everybody was talking to each other. They were talking through the movie, which I love because it just shows that everyone is participating. I think it’s a really good thing that we had today.
0:15 Kicking off their Halloween season, BSU aims to serve as a voice for the black students and people of color of Columbia.
0:21 BSU is for everybody. We want everyone to just come, and if you feel comfortable with us then we feel comfortable with you. We want everybody to have a good time with us.
0:29 Previously hosting events every other week, BSU will now be hosting events every Wednesday with a rotating theme.
0:36 This is one of our calmer events, so today was just a movie night. Just something to chill and relax. I feel like we’re coming together as a community and I love seeing all of the black students on campus get together for small events like this.
