Galaxy Wolf, a junior in fashion merchandising at Columbia College, launched herself into the fashion world a few years ago through a small Instagram fashion styling page she called Fashun Rools. What began as a casual side hustle for Wolf, who is minoring in fashion styling, quickly evolved into something bigger.
Over the summer, she expanded the brand into a full website under the same name, where she now offers professional styling services and publishes fashion research on distinctive clothing pieces and trends. Her work blends creative expression with thoughtful analysis, giving emerging styles the same attention usually reserved for established designers.
In addition to running her brand, Wolf currently leads Columbia’s student fashion collective, Columbia A La Mode. She organizes pop-up style exchanges on campus, gathering student stylists, small vendors, and clothing collectors. The events give students a chance to trade or sell pieces, refresh their wardrobes sustainably and receive personalized advice from on-site stylists.

Hi, my name is Galaxy Wolf. I am a junior in fashion merchandising and minoring in fashion styling. I run my own personal spiking business called Fashunrools and there I really focus on personal shopping and styling, and also a bit in photoshoot styling for clients. And that also kind of encompasses custom pieces of clothing I make, and then any other artistic endeavors or projects that I’m doing.

And I’m also director of Columbia à La Mode, which is our school student-led styling organization under CCFA. And we really focus on creating opportunities and events where students of all majors with an interest in fashion can come together and network with each other and kind of dive into that. So Fashunrools, the whole kind of idea behind it is that there are no rules to fashion, hence the misspelling of it.
00:00:53:29 – 00:01:22:29
It is spelled f-a-s-h-u-n-r-o-o-l-s and it kind of just aligns with all my outlooks on fashion that it doesn’t have to be perfect. It really is a true expression and head of the most prominent language of expressing myself with choosing what to wear. And now being here, it’s given me a lot of opportunities to actually grow that brand and make it into something official.
00:01:23:02 – 00:01:27:12
And now it’s just what I flip my alter ego pretty much.
