Each year, since 2003, the Lakeview Polar Bear Club gathers in the middle of winter to dive into icy Lake Michigan for a good cause. This year, The Chronicle’s Multimedia Assistant, Dennis Valera, was one of the 597 brave participants. The charity was able to raise 26,020 dollars which will be donated to the Brya family and Katie Kline.
