Late night snack
On April 27, a 44-year-old male was escorted out of a Dunkin Donuts, 600 S. Wabash Ave., according to police reports. Officers were called to the scene because the offender was harassing customers. He was initially told to leave, and when he didn’t comply, the police escorted him out.

Computers on the go
A 26-year-old medical student’s laptop was stolen by two male offenders on April 24 at Panera Bread, 501 S. State St. The two offenders, ages 14 and 17, snatched the computer and fled. The victim, along with the responding officers searched the scene and noticed one offender had run to the Filene’s Basement department store. According to police reports, the suspect was apprehended on the second floor.

Chaos at Columbia?
