Framed: The World of Comics Exhibit

Columbia students present their comic book art and comic-inspired murals.

Columbia College students showcased their comic book art installations at the Framed: The World of Comics exhibition at the Hokin Gallery, 623 S. Wabash. The show highlights the work of Columbia’s set designers. Students from Keith Pitts and Jacqueline Penrod’s Set Design classes constructed stage sets inspired by the work of Columbia College comic book artists. Justin Witte, Exhibition Coordinator, gives the Chronicle a tour of the exhibition.

Framed: The World of Comics exhibition runs from November 9, 2009 to February 13, 2010.
